Topaz

Their first album 'Rustic Acoustic' was recorded in 2019 mostly in one day with one take for each song, giving an intimate live feel to the album. The second album 'Knot Two Tyred' was recorded at their home studio in 2021 and has a more polished sound. The name of the band is made up the first two letters from each of the two founder members names with a 'z' placed at the end and was also used because Topaz is the name of a gemstone with positive crystal qualities. Tom and Paul wear an ear stud in their left ear lobes of genuine Topaz gemstone whenever they perform.
