Steve and Viki, the operators of the Red Lion in Cradley, are a friendly couple who have a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry. They used to live in Crete, Greece, where they ran a bar, a snack bar, and a successful aparthotel. They even founded a holiday company to handle the guests that they could not accommodate at the hotel.
After 20 years in Greece, Steve and Viki moved to East Sussex for a brief stint before settling down in Cradley. They arrived at the Red Lion on June 17, 2017, to find a closed pub that was in need of some TLC. They immediately set to work restoring the pub to its former glory, and they also invested in a full and extensive refurbishment.
Their vision was to restore the Red Lion as a community asset and a place for people to enjoy good company, good beer, and good food. They are committed to providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all guests, and they always have gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options available. They are also (very) dog friendly!
If you have any questions about the Red Lion, please do not hesitate to call Steve and Viki. They would be happy to answer any of your questions and help you plan your visit. They look forward to meeting you and hope that you enjoy your time with them.
