The Red Lion is a country pub on A4103, near Malvern. Serving Real Ales, lager, ciders, wines, spirits. Great range of Greek & Mediterranean home cooked food.

We are Steve and Viki and we operate the Red Lion in Cradley. We rolled up here after a brief stint in East Sussex and 20 years living and working in Crete in Greece. 

We arrived at the Red Lion on 17th of June 2017, to find a closed pub showing little sign of care or attention. Our vision was to restore the pub as a community asset and a place for people to enjoy good company, good beer and good food. We have now agreed a 5 year agreement and invested in a full and extensive refurbishment to further establish the Red Lion and to consolidate its position in the area.

Please do not hesitate to call us if you have any questions prior to visiting us. We always have Gluten Free, Vegetarian and Vegan options available and are (very) dog friendly. We look forward to meeting you and hope that you enjoy your time with us.

Tony Gillam is a singer-songwriter, acoustic guitarist and dulcimer player, specialising in original indie-folk songs and atmospheric instrumentals. He has performed at Worcester Music Festival, the Three Choirs Festival and Worcester Theatres’ Culture Café, and his music has been played on BBC Radio Hereford & Worcester and BBC Radio Shropshire. , His style is 'indie-folk', owing a lot to the contemporary folk of classic singer-songwriters of the 1970s, but is also infused with an indie sensibility. Imagine Cat Stevens and Echo and the Bunnymen meeting on Kidderminster's West Coast! , Prepare to enjoy delicate melodies, strong rhythms and often startlingly surreal lyrics.
