Malvern Rocks is a big festival with a lot of costs involved. This year we are, once again, committing to pay the performers, crew, and organisers for their time and effort in putting on the festival.
In the past, musicians have often been asked to perform for free, with some venues expecting “exposure” to be enough. While this model can work in the short term, we believe that the way to make our festival successful is to take it up a notch.
We believe that paying artists and crew is the right thing to do. It shows our appreciation for their hard work and dedication, and it helps to ensure that they can continue to create the amazing music that we all love.
We are asking for your help to make this happen. We don’t charge entry fees to Malvern Rocks gigs and performances, so instead we are asking you, our audience, to give what you can towards our costs. Every little amount will help with the running of the festival.
You can donate to our PayPal donations page. You can give a little, a lot, or a regular amount.

Here are some reasons why paying artists and crew is important:
It shows our appreciation for their hard work and dedication.
It helps to ensure that they can continue to create the amazing music that we all love.
It sets a precedent for other festivals to follow.
It helps to create a more professional and sustainable music industry.
If you’re feeling a little more generous, perhaps you would consider either becoming a sponsor or a patron of Malvern Rocks Festival of Music.
Sponsors can fund individual performances, afternoon or evening sessions or entire stages. We offer a variety of sponsorship packages. Ideal for local businesses who want to engage with the community within their CSR program.
Patronage has long been a major source of funding for artistic endeavours so if you like what we do and want to support us, please get in touch.
