English Jones Biog, Midlands based three piece English Jones are singer/songwriter Stewart Jones, lead guitarist Andy Davis and bass guitar and vocals Muriel Halpin. EJ’s original blend of acoustic pop and warm vocal harmonies find favour with gig goers and venues alike., The last few years have seen English Jones playing festivals around the country including Melton Mowbray Folk Festival, The Biggefest and for the first time Malvern Rocks in Worcestershire.When on tour with The Great British Food Festival the band entertained summer festival goers at some of the grandest venues in the country, including Hardwick Hall, Weston Park and Knebworth House., 2022 saw English Jones back on the road after the pandemic of the previous two years.  The year started early with many local gigs and a fundraiser for Ukraine.  As the summer arrived, EJ played at events such as Glastonbeoley, Warwick Beer and Music Festival, The Big Family Festival, Melton Mowbray Folk Festival and the Wheaton Aston Beer Festival, stopping off in July to play a sell out show at the Courtyard Theatre in Nuneaton with good friends EveryThread on one hot Sunday afternoon., In October the band returned to their hometown of Sutton Coldfield to play a crowd-pleasing set at Simpsons Bar with a riotous night had by all.  The year came to a close back Melton Mowbray for the Christmas Folk Trail in December., Last year found English Jones playing at a variety of Charity events, pubs, Cocktail bars and festivals around the midlands.
