I started out playing rhythm guitar and writing songs for a new wave band called the Fade back in 79. Then formed a band called Jim’s Got Style with a fabulous guitarist called Phil Carter and enjoyed being a part of the infamous, JBs Club scene of the time. After this I fronted Roadhouse, a bit of a super group with a Doorsesque vibe that included Paul Sharp from Head of David and the fabulous Jim Cowdell on keyboards. We toured extensively and had a bit too much fun! I now front a lively covers band, the Strolling Tones and enjoy doing acoustic shows to raise money for SHELTER.
