Blanco Negra are a 3 piece rock band from Wolverhampton in the West Midlands. They write and perform their own original songs and are influenced by bands such as The Wildhearts, Velvet Revolver and Guns N’ Roses. Beginning life as a duo, featuring Dave and Gayna McCarthy, they became a three piece in 2023 when Jack Blakemore joined the band on Bass Guitar and backing vocals. They have been gigging in and around the West Midlands as a three piece since October 2023 and to date have released an EP, The Sunshine Girl EP, which is available on Bandcamp, Amazon Music, Spotify and other online streaming services. They have recently supported Continental Lovers on their UK tour and have played at KK’s Steelmill and also played at The O2 Academy in Sheffield at HRH Sleaze Festival.
