Apply to play at Malvern Rocks

At Malvern Rocks we are committed to making music pay both for our venues and our artists.  Just as we did last year and in 2023, we will be paying paying our performers a fee for playing at Malvern Rocks.  We can’t guarantee the amount yet as we are dependent on several methods of funding, however, we will commit to paying each performer at least £10.  A five-piece band would therefore receive a minimum of £50.  The performer’s fee will be calculated once the festival is over by dividing any profits between Malvern Rocks and everyone who plays.  Last year, each performer was paid £15.  We hope to increase that amount this year, with our target being £20 per performer.   

IMPORTANT: If you are unhappy with this arrangement, please do not proceed with this application.

For your application you will need:

1. Your personal details including address and telephone number.
2. Details about your act including a brief excerpt description of you or your band.
3. A short excerpt describing you band – your elevator pitch.
4. A more in-depth bio that will act as your full listing information – your manifesto.
5. Band line up and instrument details.
6. Links to your website, YouTube, Spotify etc.
7. Links to your social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram etc..
8. A music track for us to listen to in mp3 or m4a format.
9. Up to three pictures of you or your band in jpg or png format between 800 and 2000 pixels wide.
10. A tech spec / stage plan if you have one.

It will take 15-20 minutes to complete this application so please prepare what you need first.
