A Shared Passion for Electronic Music
Dan’s fascination with synthesizers began at a young age, nurtured by supportive parents. He honed his skills, playing keyboards and touring with UB40 for several years. Currently, Dan heads the Music Production department at Hereford & Ludlow College. His love for electronic music led him to collaborate with Sarah after they connected through a mutual project.
Sarah, a vocalist and songwriter since her early 20s, has performed across Europe and the UK with various dance and electronic outfits. She even received an offer from a renowned music producer, only to be told she was “too posh” for the music scene! Undeterred, she continued her musical journey, returning in 2019 to write an electronic album.
A Modern Take on Uplifting Electronic Pop
United by their love for 90s music, Dan and Sarah combine their talents to create modern electronic pop with a strong focus on captivating live vocals. Audiogenika’s setlist features a mix of 14 original songs and crowd-pleasing covers from artists like Everything but the Girl, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, and Dua Lipa.
Seasoned Performers with Festival Pedigree
Both seasoned performers, Dan and Sarah are no strangers to the festival stage. They’ve graced the crowds at Glastonbury, Lakefest, and the BBC Introducing stage, showcasing their electrifying live presence. Their music has also been featured on BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio in the UK and USA.
Get ready to dance the night away with Audiogenika! They’ll be bringing their infectious energy to the The Unicorn stage on 3rd August at 7pm.
