Saint Senara are Battle of the Bands-winning singer-songwriter duo Andrew Bate & Chloe Gorman. Our music spans dirty, blues-inspired rock to delicate folk numbers with dark twists — and having made our live debut at Cheltenham Jazz Festival in 2022, we’ve been impressing audiences and promoters across Gloucestershire and the South West ever since, earning recognition for our unique sound, tight vocal harmonies and impressive songwriting. The title track from our debut EP ‘Flowers On My Grave’ placed in the top 10 of the Blues & Roots Radio International Song Contest in 2023; we were handpicked to open for Queen of UK Blues, Elles Bailey, when she toured in the Cotswolds that summer; we won Gloucester Brewery’s Battle of the Bands in December 2023, beating competition from 11 other talented bands from across Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Bristol; and we received our first airplay from BBC Introducing in January 2024. We’re kicking off the 2024 festival season in style, having been announced as the headliner for the Marquee Stage at Cheltenham’s legendary grassroots venue The Frog and Fiddle’s annual Sunday Funday festival in a day this May — with performances at Gloucester Tall Ships Festival, Y Fest and Lakefest lined up, too. We’ll also be releasing two brand-new singles in the next few months.
