Spring is here, and we’re kicking off the Easter weekend with something special: Malvern Rocks Easter – a mini-festival of fantastic live music spread across three brilliant local pubs, one each day!
No big stages or tickets needed – just turn up, grab a drink, and enjoy some of the best talent from the Malvern music scene. All events are free entry (though donations to support the artists are always appreciated!).
6pm: Connie – Acoustic singer-songwriter with over a decade in the Malvern scene, blending influences from Bob Dylan, David Bowie, and Amy Winehouse with her own versatile style.
7pm: Hennesea – Five-piece indie folk rock band delivering electrifying original music straight from Malvern’s vibrant heart.
8pm: Funky Junky Monkeys – Five-piece party band mixing funk, punk, glam, indie, and rock – from 60s psychedelia to modern classics. A veritable party in a box that gets everyone dancing!
9pm: Miss Pearl & the Rough Diamonds – High-energy 1950s rock ‘n’ roll, rockabilly, and country jump blues from Malvern’s Queen of Rockabilly, Miss Pearl (Jo Hurrell), backed by her Rough Diamonds band. Originals and classics from Wanda Jackson, Patsy Cline, Johnny Burnette, and more!
