Malvern Rocks 2026 will take place over the weekend of 21st to 23rd August.
We’re now accepting band and artist applications for next year’s festival – our eighth edition! (2012–2015, then back bigger and better in 2023, 2024, 2025 and now heading into 2026!).
Yes, we pay every act that performs.
It’s never going to make you rich, but we believe everyone who gives up their time and talent deserves something in their pocket. Here’s what we’ve managed so far:
– 2023 → £12.50 per performer
– 2024 → £15 per performer
– 2025 → £20 per performer
– 2026 → we’re aiming for £25 per performer (and we’ll push higher as the festival keeps growing)
We know it’s modest – it’s a small, volunteer-run, free-entry community festival – but every penny of sponsorship and fundraising goes straight back into making the event happen and looking after the artists.
Over the years dozens of acts who’ve played Malvern Rocks have gone on to get paid gigs at local pubs, clubs and venues afterwards because people heard them here first. The exposure in front of a friendly, music-loving crowd is genuine, and the goodwill lasts.
If £25 (give or take) isn’t enough for you, no hard feelings – this one probably isn’t the right fit. Please don’t apply.
