A Vision Brought to Life

Keyboard player Roy Linton dreamt of a band that captured the essence of jazz, funk, and soul, with a touch of psychedelic flair. Finding the right musicians wasn’t easy, but Roy feels blessed to have assembled a crew who share his passion: Andre Warmington Bayliss (drums), Ted Woodley (bass), Andy Thomas (guitar), John Sanderson (sax/flute), Mahendra Patel (percussion), and the captivating vocalist Jodi Matthews.

A Melting Pot of Influences

Each member of Headquarters of Groove brings their own unique sonic fingerprint to the mix. Influences like Azymuth, Janis Joplin, Chic, Sade, and even Jimi Hendrix weave together to create a sound that’s both groovy and sophisticated.
